 I have heard a lot of mums saying my child doesn't like fruits.
Watermelon pizza is another trick you can try for your choosy kid.






It's that time of the year again to celebrate our children. This time it is more special because they have more time at home.
I have put up few recipes that children will love this season, starting from today.

Oat Pancakes

Hello guys, I trust your weekend is going well.
 I tried making Oat pancakes instead of using the regular refined flour.

Oat Pancakes
- Grind 2-3 cups of Quick oats to get your Oat flour
-Pour 1½ cup of Oat flour into a mixing bowl
- ½ tsp nutmeg powder
- ½ cup sugar( for weight loss management use 2-3 tbsp of honey as a sweetener)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup of liquid milk
- 2 eggs
You can add pepper, onions if you want to

-Mix evenly until it forms a paste without lumps.
-Pour ½ tbsp of oil into your skillet(nonstick pan)
-Use a deep spoon or ice cream spoon to scoop the pancake mixture on your skillet.
-Use a flat spoon to flip the other side until it's brown.
Stack the pancakes together
Pour honey on the top of the pancake till it drips down the plate
Your pancakes are ready to be served.
 You can add fruits by the side( grapes, strawberries)

Samosa with Tortilla wraps

Samosa Filling
- minced meat( marinated)
- chopped onions, spring onions, tomato, pepper
- spices( ginger, garlic, turmeric, rosemary, black pepper, salt to taste)
- mashed potatoes
Stir fry the onions, add the minced meat, keep stirring till it cooks,
- Add the veggies and spices
- Add the mashed potatoes
- keep stirring for about 2-3 minutes
- pour in a bowl to cool
Tortilla bread:
Divide the circular bread into 4 quadrants.
Take each quadrant and wet it with water.
- Form a cone shape and stuff your filling in the cone
- seal with whisked egg
- repeat for all the quadrants.
- put in an air-tight bowl
- refrigerate for 2-4 hours
- dip fry until golden brown

Oats have lots of fiber and are great for weight loss.
Ingredients
- Rolled Oats
- Granola
- Hazelnut spread
- Honey
- Vanilla extract
- Food color
- Nutmeg
- Eggs

Procedure:
- Grind 1-3 cups of rolled oats in a grinder
- Pour in a round bowl
- Add ½ tsp of nutmeg
- 2 tbsp of Honey
- 2 tbsp of Stevia
- 2 tbsp of peanut oil
- ¼ cup of water
- 2 egg whites
- ½ tsp of food color
- ½ tsp baking powder

1 scoop of milk
Mix well together,
Oil the baking tin.
And pour the mixture in the tin.
Bake at 5-10mins at 350 degrees.
Use a toothpick to check if it is ready.

Once it is ready, allow cooling
Rub the top of the cake with hazelnut spread, sprinkle granola on the cake.

SNAIL and PLANTAIN KEBAB
Snails are very nutritious, they help in
 maintaining normal blood pressure, strengthening bones, and also help in keeping regular heartbeats.
INGREDIENTS
- Snails
- Kebab sticks
- Onions, Red bell pepper
-red pepper
-Black pepper, ginger, garlic, spices
- seasoning
- Peanut oil
- plantain

Procedure:
-Boil the snails alive for 10-15 minutes with low heat.
-Drain the boiled snails and cool with room temperature water
-Remove the snails from the shell by shaking the shells, separate the fleshy part by cutting with a knife.
-Use Alum to remove the snail slime
-Marinate the snails and keep in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
-Slice your onions, paper, garlic, ginger
- Pour 2 tbsp of peanut oil in your skillet and stir fry the sliced veggies for 5 minutes, add your spices, black pepper and pour in a bowl to cool
- Fry the marinated snails, then fry the plantain of afterward- Allow the fried snails and plantain to cool.
- Be creative with your stir-fried veggies, plantain as you set them on the kebab sticks.

-Take honey instead of sugar

- stir fry your vegetables with coconut oil/ olive oil.
- don't undercook or overcook your vegetables when frying
- stir fry with low heat.

3RD PICTURE
CHICKEN BREAST SALAD
- It is the healthiest part of the chicken and can be taken as protein.
