I tried making Oat pancakes instead of using the regular refined flour.
Oat Pancakes
- Grind 2-3 cups of Quick oats to get your Oat flour
-Pour 1½ cup of Oat flour into a mixing bowl
- ½ tsp nutmeg powder
- ½ cup sugar( for weight loss management use 2-3 tbsp of honey as a sweetener)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup of liquid milk
- 2 eggs
You can add pepper, onions if you want to
-Mix evenly until it forms a paste without lumps.
-Pour ½ tbsp of oil into your skillet(nonstick pan)
-Use a deep spoon or ice cream spoon to scoop the pancake mixture on your skillet.
-Use a flat spoon to flip the other side until it's brown.
Stack the pancakes together
Pour honey on the top of the pancake till it drips down the plate
Your pancakes are ready to be served.
You can add fruits by the side( grapes, strawberries)
